Conveyancing tables - 2004
4 March 2004

The Tables of Costs - ready reckoner booklet includes:
  • Summary of Bond Repayment Interest Rates/Costs.
  • Summary of Bond and Transfer Costs.
  • Tables of Transfer costs, and
  • Tables of Bond costs, which reflect the abolition of Stamp Duty on mortgage bonds. We have left the Stamp Duty column in these tables and have repeated the 0.00 throughout as a reminder to users of the change.

Update of the Tables of Costs - January 2005:
A new Schedule of Fees of Office as prescribed by regulations 84 and 86 of the Deeds Registries Act was published in the Government Gazette on 1 October. It came into effect on 1 November last year. As a result some of the entries in the tables have had to be updated and are now available in this version of the Ready Reckoner .

Note
The tables do not include any potential changes in Deeds Office Tariffs or in the rate of Transfer fees charged by conveyancers. Once the legislation is enacted it will be updated on the site. Meanwhile the Tables of Costs - with legislation booklet from 2003 reflects the current legislation.
