Prof Loubser has been teaching corporate law for over 14 years at undergraduate and postgraduate level and has contributed to the first textbook written on the Act. In familiarising participants with the Act, emphasis will be placed on new developments and changes to existing principles such as:
the simplified registration procedure for companies;
codified duties and powers of directors;
orders of delinquency and probation against directors;
abolition of some common-law principles such as the doctrine of disclosure and the doctrine of constructive notice;
