The deeds office in Johannesburg will relocate to Marble Towers in Pritchard Street this weekend, in what Eddie Mohoebi, a chief director at the land affairs department, has stressed will result in a minimum disruption of services. The move follows ApexHi being granted an eviction order after an urgent application by the department was denied when ApexHi locked the deeds office out of its premises on November 1, one month after the lease for the space had expired.
