"Free" conveyancing services apparently have a cost - a lack of care and concern shown by the conveyancing firms. Completions are delayed by months for no discernible reason and no individual seems prepared to take responsibility for the cases. Deteriorating service also hits clients' pockets. Maybe planned branch closures and managerial redundancies all heading in the direction of centralisation is not such a great idea after all.
