The government of the Bahamas has signed a $2.3 million contract with International Land Systems (ILS) which will see the design, development and installation of a computerised Parcel Information Management System (PIMS). This will ultimately lead to a computer-based land registry where online searches showing the land itself, the owner of the title for the land, and the value of the land will be possible.
