Attached, please find the schedule for operations in the Deeds Office Cape Town for the December/January period.

Be advised that the schedule sets out changes to the normal operations of the office. If a function is not reflected on the schedule, the normal times will apply.

Please familiarize yourself with and adhere strictly to amended time slots as the office may not be in a position to accommodate deviations from the schedule.

2.  Turn-around in examination

Please be advised that the Sorting Room is allocating deeds for examination as follows:

1. On Friday 9 December 2011, 1st level examiners are examining deeds lodged on 7 - 8 December 2011.
2. On Friday 9 December 2011, 2nd level examiners are examining deeds lodged on 28 - 30 November 2011.

This translates into a turn-around of 10 - 11 working days in the examination phase.
